Privacy Policy

Metro Metal Works

Effective date: June 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Metro Metal Works, Inc (“Metro Metal Works,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at http://www.mmwfab.com (the “Site”), request a quote, share project files with us, create an account, or sign up for our emails or texts.

We’ve tried to keep this in plain language. If anything here is unclear, just reach out using the contact details at the bottom. This Policy works alongside our Terms of Service.

  • We collect the information you give us (like your name, contact details, and the project files you share) and a limited amount of technical information collected automatically when you visit.
  • We use it to respond to you, prepare quotes, do the work you ask us to do, run our business, and — if you’ve opted in — send you emails or texts.
  • We use cookies and similar tools, including analytics (such as Google Analytics) and advertising pixels (such as Meta and LinkedIn), which share some browsing information with those platforms.
  • We share information with the service providers that help us run the Site and our business, and when the law requires it. We don’t sell your personal information for money.
  • You can opt out of our marketing emails and texts anytime, manage cookies through your browser, and ask us about the information we hold on you.

The rest of this Policy explains the details.

Information you give us. This includes information you provide when you:

  • Contact us or request a quote (RFQ): your name, company, email address, phone number, and any details, messages, or project information you include.
  • Upload files: drawings, specifications, models, and other files you send us so we can review and quote your project.
  • Create an account (when this feature is available): your account and login information.
  • Sign up for emails or texts: your email address and/or mobile phone number, and your communication preferences.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and the tools we use automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, links you click, and how you arrived at and moved through the Site. We collect this using cookies and similar technologies, including analytics and advertising tools (see Section 4).

We don’t intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site, so please don’t submit it.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and requests.
  • Prepare and send quotes, and communicate with you about your project.
  • Perform the work you’ve engaged us to do and manage our relationship with you.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
  • Understand how the Site is used and measure the performance of our advertising.
  • Send you marketing emails and texts if you’ve opted in (see Section 6).
  • Keep records and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
  • Protect our rights, prevent fraud or misuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help websites work and help owners understand how their site is used. We use a few different kinds:

  • Essential cookies that make the Site function properly.
  • Analytics cookies (for example, through Google Analytics or a similar tool) that help us understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it. These tools may collect information such as your IP address and browsing activity.
  • Advertising and social media pixels (for example, the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag). These small pieces of code let us measure the results of our advertising and reach people with relevant ads on those platforms. When they’re active, they share certain information about your visit — such as the pages you view and actions you take — with Meta and LinkedIn, who handle that information under their own privacy policies.

Your choices about cookies and ad tracking. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not work as well without them. You can also manage ad targeting directly with the platforms (for example, through your Meta and LinkedIn ad preference settings) and through industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org). Many browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal you can enable.

We don’t sell your personal information for money. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers. We use trusted outside companies to help us run the Site and our business — for example, website hosting, customer relationship management (CRM), email and text messaging platforms, file storage, and analytics. These providers may handle your information on our behalf, and only to provide their services to us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners. As described in Section 4, our analytics and advertising tools (such as Google, Meta, and LinkedIn) may collect information about your use of the Site through cookies and pixels. Some privacy laws treat this kind of activity as “sharing” of information for targeted advertising; see Section 4 for how to opt out.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or when we believe it’s necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
  • Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your direction. We’ll share information when you ask us to or otherwise direct us to.

If you opt in, we may send you marketing emails and/or text messages.

Email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email we send.

Text messages (SMS). If you opt in to texts, you agree to receive marketing and informational messages at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of buying anything from us or receiving a quote. We don’t share your mobile information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our services, communicate with you, run our business, and meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. That said, no website or method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending highly sensitive or confidential material through the Site — if a project is especially sensitive, contact us about a non-disclosure agreement first.

You always have these choices:

  • Marketing emails: unsubscribe using the link in any email.
  • Text messages: reply STOP to opt out.
  • Cookies and ad tracking: manage these through your browser settings and the opt-out tools described in Section 4.
  • Your information: you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we’ll respond consistent with applicable law. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 11.

The Site is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.
