CNC Press Brake Operator

Metro Metal Works is hiring an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to form precision sheet metal parts on our 8 ft and 12 ft press brakes. This is a hands-on, in-person role for someone who can read a drawing, set up the right tooling, and produce accurate parts on schedule.

Pay & schedule

• From $20.00 per hour, based on experience
• Full-time, in person — Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Overtime available
• Monthly performance bonuses

What you’ll do

• Set up and operate CNC press brakes (8 ft and 12 ft machines) to form and complete metal parts
• Select the correct tooling for each part
• Read and work from shop drawings, blueprints, work orders, and travelers
• Complete work accurately and on time
• Work safely and collaborate well with the team

What you’ll need

• Minimum 2 years of recent CNC press brake experience (within the last 2 years, in the metal fabrication field)
• Additional experience in metal fabrication, welding, or sheet metal fabrication will also be considered
• Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints
• Ability to lift steel, stainless, and aluminum into the machines
• Your own tools for working in the press brake area
• Safety- and team-oriented mindset
• Delem Control software experience is a plus
